Wow! We are really behind...

It's been a while since we've brewed.  Beth and I are both teachers and the last school year was a rough one.  We updated our brewing process and tested two new recipes.  We are really excited about the new beers. One is Haleiwa and the other is Penalty Box.  Haleiwa is an island style lager brewer with Jasmine rice which gives it a really crisp and refreshing flavor.  Penatly Box is an IPA with an interesting mix of hops that we add in the mash, boil, and dry hop.  

Our plan is to make a few final changes to the brew house, brew two beers for Ed Baligad who is having his retirement party in September, and start a steady brew schedule in the fall.  We hope to have a few tastings by Thanksgiving.
